Schaudt CombiGrind HS The Schaudt
CombiGrind H CNC is not only a fully capable grinding machine, but
also a multi-functional precision machining centre for processing
shafts with a length up to 1,000 mm.
External cylindrical grinding as well as
hard turning - with the Schaudt CombiGrind H that’s not a problem.
It is the optimal solution for all combined machining processes
and is able to adjust perfectly to your requirements. The
optimally designed sequence of process tasks can lead to a
measurable cost reduction in your part production whilst retaining
a high level of production precision.

The Schaudt CombiGrind H is
available with two or three slides and grinding lengths of 400 mm
with two slides (CombiGrind HS), 600 mm with three slides and
1,000 mm with two slides (CombiGrind
HL). With complete machining of complex geometries in 2 – 3
workstations and the possibility of being automated, the
CombiGrind H is ideal for the automotive industries.

The CombiGrind H combines the advantages of grinding with hard
turning. It is equipped with both high performance, long-life
grinding units, convenient dressing and an effective cooling
lubrication systems as well as with a rigid lathe tool intake and
a corresponding workplace design for efficient chip removal.
The CombiGrind H has a design which is well focused on production
requirements of small and medium-sized parts in the automotive and
supply industries. It can of course also be upgraded with CBN
grinding wheels and the respective CBN-adapted dressing,
in-process measuring control and automatic balancing unit.
