In 1906, the company Carl Unger Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik
was founded. Following a change of ownership in 1943, the
new owner and CEO Dr. Schaudt changed the company name to
SCHAUDT Maschinenbau GmbH, Stuttgart-Hedelfingen.
Today STUDER SCHAUDT mainly supplies the automotive industry
and its sub-suppliers with external cylindrical and
non-round grinding machines and systems. Complete systems
such as grinding lines, grinding cells, interlinking and
handling systems as well as stand-alone machines can be
supplied.
STUDER
SCHAUDT build large external cylindrical grinding machines
for general machine manufacturing and roll machining as
well as highly productive multifunctional machining
centres for cylindrical grinding, hard turning and other
technologies with an emphasis on the automotive and
subcontracting industries.
