StuderGRIND off-line programming
software StuderGRIND
programming software provides an amazing increase in
productivity and high quality results almost immediately. It
is not just unique because it brings decades of grinding
knowledge to your finger-tips, but it's graphic visualisation
makes it very user friendly.
With StuderGRIND, the work-piece
program can be created on an external PC. Grinding technology
support also assists in finding the optimum grinding
parameters. The programs can be created with practice-oriented
process values without any in-depth grinding technology
know-how on the operator's part.
What was previously only available to
grinders with many years of practical experience is now made
available as "expert knowledge" at the press of a button by
the grinding technology support in the StuderTechnology
additional module!
With StuderGRIND, the user can also find
the most cost-effective variant for grinding a work-piece and
define feasibility and costs quickly and precisely. To support
you during the machine set-up, the configuration including
grinding wheels and dressers can be 'virtually' represented
and the entire grinding process can then be simulated
on-screen.
StuderGRIND meets the needs of different
users with specialised expansion modules which include:
-
StuderTechnology:
Grinding technology, grinding times, unit cost calculation
and simulation
-
StuderDress:
Efficient profiling and re-profiling of grinding wheels in
a 30%-75% shorter time
-
StuderContour: Peel
grinding, convex grinding and contour traverse grinding
made simple
-
StuderProfil: For
the creation of any grinding wheel profiles or work-piece
contours
-
StuderThread:
Thread software makes the universal cylindrical grinding
machine into a thread grinding machine
-
StuderForm and
StuderFormHSM (with high-speed
machining): Non-circular grinding software for machining
industrial curves and polygons
-
StuderPunch: Highly
automated and highly flexible solution for grinding press
and die punches
Not only are the functions of the
machine fully utilised with the above modules, but the
grinding process is considerably faster compared to
conventional programming, often with cycle time reductions
of 50% or more. And thanks to modules such as StuderThread,
the use of additional special machines can be eliminated.
